Wet Effect joins One Percent for the Planet

Last month Wet Effect, Inc joined like minded businesses becoming a member of 1% FOR THE PLANET. This is an alliance of businesses committed to leveraging their resources to create a healthier planet. Members recognize their responsibility to and dependence on a healthy environment and donate at least 1% of their annual net revenues to environmental organizations worldwide. The alliance aims to prove that taking environmental responsibility is good for business.
As we grow here at Wet Effect , we want to know that we are playing a role in securing a healthy planet for our children and our children's children. A role that seems to be overlooked by government and industry. We feel that since our customers that wear either a pair of our Board shorts or one of our Rash Guards, are probably doing it out in nature, while surfing, kayaking or rafting. It is only fair to mother earth, that she should get her nickel if we got ours.

Sun Protection for your Family

As the majority of school kids are on vacation this week, we just wanted to launch a friendly reminder to protect your family from the Sun's Damaging Rays. Rashguards and Fight Shorts

New Boardies Coming Soon


We thought we would start 2006 out fresh with a new line of Board Shorts! The new design, yet to be named, will first be launched in navy with a royal inset and white piping. The design is similar to the Oneill Superfreak, but the inset comes further across the leg. As well as the all new design, Wet Effect will be launching our Best Selling Solid Color Board Short in a new color! That's Right, we are adding Khaki to our Men's and Women's Solid Color Board Shorts . You never know what we will be up to at Wet Effect, so check back frequently!!

Aquapac Waterproof Products at Wet Effect

Well its another year, and Wet Effect has added several new product lines to their wet application apparrel.
Primarily we focus our attention on Rash Guards and Board Shorts. As the needs of our customers expanded, so did our products. A surf company in Costa Rica had inquired about a waterproof container or pouch to keep keys etc, while surfing, and our Product Development Department researched and came up with Aquapac. After much testing with several different products, and really trying (unsuccessfully) to break the seal of the bag, we have decided to carry this great line, manufactured in the UK.
